Arkansans need conservative leaders who are both willing and able to work with many different people to solve problems in our state. And, when possible, find ways to prevent issues from becoming a problem in the first place.
Colby Fulfer has experience in both the public and private sectors, giving him a unique way of looking at how to solve problems. This is true be it challenges from outside forces such as the federal government, down to the issues facing our individual communities.
When looking at issues that Arkansans say they care most about now and in the future of our state, three rise to the top: pro-life measures, economic growth, and working for personal responsibility.
As a State Senator, Colby Fulfer is dedicated to protecting the unborn. As Chief of Staff for the Mayor of Springdale, he is already known across the state for successfully spearheading Springdale becoming the first pro-life city in Arkansas.
This move was more than a simple resolution that would not hold much weight. With Fulfer’s research and leadership, the city changed zoning ordinances that would prevent abortions being performed in the city. He also, however, found ways to partner with community healthcare providers to maintain affordable access to women’s healthcare without providing abortion services.
Colby’s methods earned the respect from people across the aisle as he fought to protect the unborn and women alike. He knows it is possible to find ways to do something similar across the entire state so that Arkansas is truly pro-life, not just anti-abortion.
As a former small business owner, Colby knows there is a big difference between signing the back of a paycheck and signing the front of a paycheck. He is committed to helping small business owners grow their businesses and thrive, thus empowering economic success for all.
His experience in both the private and public sectors makes Colby aware that one of the biggest challenges businesses of all sizes face is government interference. He is dedicated to finding ways to help the free market breathe by getting unnecessary government involvement out of the way.
As is evidenced by him implementing a new business model that led to a 700% growth in his former business, Colby is adept at determining wants vs needs, and finding creative solutions to fulfilling those needs.
This country is being torn apart at its very fabric and Colby Fulfer believes that its largely because we have lost our sense of personal responsibility. He knows our leadership must promote personal freedoms and responsibility if we are to be “One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”.
This includes taking personal responsibilty in many areas including gun ownership, pro-life measures to protect the innocent from the cradle to the grave, and the current COVID vaccine debate.
When looking at any issue, he believes that the only way we as a country and state will remain indivisible is if we quit dividing ourselves from the inside out. This creed means he desires to work with anyone who wants to contribute to finding common ground and solutions.
